Meet the team at Light OT

TESS

Occupational Therapist

Pronouns: she/her

Hi, my name is Tess, and I have a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) from Monash University. I am extremely passionate about helping individuals, using strengths based and neuro-affirming approaches to empower people and their families to engage in the activities that are meaningful to them. Before joining Light, I worked within an inpatient adult mental health service as well as the Department of Education at a Special Developmental School. Prior to becoming an OT, I worked as a support worker, which deepened my passion for helping people participate in tasks that are important to them.

Outside my professional life, I love to travel and hope to continue exploring the world in the future! I also love to listen to music, go to yoga classes and spend time with my friends and family.

I’m always eager to learn and grow, and I’m excited about the opportunity to continue making a positive impact in the lives of those I work with.
