Meet the team at Light OT

AMY

Clinical Director

Pronouns: she/her

Hi, I’m Amy, an occupational therapist deeply committed to working alongside the neurodivergent community. In recent years, my interests and focus have centred on supporting Autistic adolescents and PDAers, advocating fiercely, promoting autonomy and positive self-identity, and fostering authentic connections through innovative small group therapy. Guided by both my professional expertise and lived experience, I lead our passionate team of OTs to ensure we deliver inclusive, neurodiversity-affirming support to the community.

Beyond my work, I am a foster carer for children in out-of-home care, which has further highlighted the urgent need for expanded trauma-informed resources and services. I am eager to share knowledge and training with my fellow OTs, equipping them with the tools to provide compassionate and effective support.

Outside of my professional life, I cherish time with family and embrace the beautiful chaos of new motherhood.

Are you ready to take the first steps towards a brighter path?
