SOPHIE

Occupational Therapist

Pronouns: she/her

Hi, I’m Sophie, and I have a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from Australian Catholic University. I’m passionate about using a strengths-based approach to help children and young adults engage in meaningful activities and achieve their personal goals. My previous experience as a community allied health assistant has allowed me to support individuals in both home and community settings. This has included areas such as meal preparation, self-care, and travel planning. This role deepened my commitment to fostering collaboration with individuals and their families. I believe in creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals can be their authentic selves. My approach to therapy is centred on empowering people to lead fulfilling lives and participate in the activities that matter most to them. When I’m not working, I love spending time with family and friends, enjoying the beach, staying active through Pilates, and walking my dog Hugo.
